Cricut Craftroom Exclusives - Cut free for a week!

How are you guys loving what Cricut is doing with giving us images to cut FREE for a week? I think it's great! I'm loving it. You get the opportunity to try out new cartridges without having to buy it. There's just something about getting to cut stuff out that changes your view on a cartridge. Here is what you get to cut out FREE this week.

This is Cricut Craftroom Exclusive Bookmark - Classics.

To check out all 6 of the images on this digital exclusive click on the image abover or HERE. You can make some great bookmarks with these. This is available FREE through September 19th.

So... are you new to Cricut Craftroom? Or has it been a while since you have been on there? Things are changing fast. I have the software downloaded on both my iMac and my PC. Usually I just log on there. But recently my husband got me a new laptop. I was kinda in a hurry because I had a friend over and I just wanted to show her what CCR does. You used to be able to work online and "create only" without the ability to "cut" unless you were using the downloaded software. When I tried to enter the CCR I couldn't find the button. I looked and looked. I swore I was overlooking it. But... after searching later I found that this button no longer exists. Instead you just need to download the software and you can move right along. I miss this feature. But... I will survive.

But... if you don't have the program installed you can't go and check out the above FREE images. So lets go through the steps.

1) First you will need to go to the Cricut site. Click HERE or visit www.cricut.com.
This will give you the opportunity to do many things. You will be able to shop for Cricut products, join the Cricut Community, search samples, find "how-to" videos, see great projects with instructions and of course, you'll find Cricut Craft Room.

2) Secondly, you have two options. You can click on the "Craft Room" tab on the top right hand corner. This will take you to the CCR page and give you more information on it. This is also where you will find the download button for the software. If you don't have a Cricut.com account you will be directed to create one.
OR... instead of clicking on the "Craft Room" tab you can scroll down the page. You'll find featured projects, featured cartridges and most importantly, a big red box that says "Cut it Free for a week". Here is where you will find the exclusive cartridges that are available to cut for FREE.

3) Third... once you have found the FREE images for the week... you can look at the digital handbook (I've given you a link above, just click on the image). This will show you all the different images available for the cartridge. You will also find a project along with instructions to make the project. So not only are they providing you with Free images to cut... they are giving you a project to make.

I don't know about you... but I think this is great. I totally plan on making some of these bookmarks. And each week I plan on coming back and checking out the new images. Check back here each Wednesday to keep up to date on the latest images. I'm hoping to be able to share with you a project each week. But let me get back on the swing of things. I still owe you guys a video on the Cricut Expression 2. Hope to get that up before next Wednesday.

Have a great weekend!
